Microbeads or Microenvironment-Killers?

Micro beads infiltrating lakes and oceans is a fast developing problem. You may assume that the lakes that the micro beads are insignificant, but these lakes include our drinking water reservoirs. Their is two problems resulting from this. The first is that water filtration systems cannot prevent micro beads from going through the watercourse; concluding to consumption of the beads by us. Just think your putting plastic beads into your body, disgusting. Not only are you consuming plastic beads but also chemicals. Micro beads are able to absorb chemicals; so you are introducing plastic and chemicals to your body from your own tap water. The second issue with micro beads is that they are terrible for your skin. When using micro beads you are scrubbing tiny pieces of plastic onto your new skin. By doing this you are scrubbing away layers of your new skin, and nothe letting your skin rejuvinate. The micro beads also make microscopic cuts in your skin making it vulnerable to bacteria. All of this can result in more acne anyway, reversing the objective of the acne wash anyway. Instead of a microbead containing product, try a moisturising facial scrub. For example sugar scrubs, charcoal scrub, foam exfoliators or a facial mask. You may not even know you are using micro bead products. Micro beads are mostly found in facial wases and whitening toothpastes. California, New York, Ohio, Illinois, Minnesota are all trying to ban the use of these harmful products for the better. Please try not to use these bad products for the bettering of yourself and your environment.
